Description
The surrounding urban context is mainly made up of single-family residential settlements
semi-detached with the exception of some multi-family buildings with four floors above ground, such as the building whose access is from Via Santa Rita to the west of the intervention lot. The presence of a residential settlement consisting of a long strip of terraced houses with marked architectural uniformity is noted on Via Monte Rosa. The intervention in question involves theconstruction of five villas, two semi-detached houses and one single-family house, with two floors above ground (the construction of underground or basement floors is not envisaged). The choice of architectural typology is linked to the desire to conform to the prevailing typologyof the surroundings. The villas will have independent pedestrian access from Via Monte Rosa, where we find their main front, the driveway access will be from Via Monte Conero via a common driveway created on the west side of the lot.

Description
This project report is attached to the examination of the integration of the landscape impact inherent to the AT Transformation Area. 2“The residences of the Torchiana fountain, via Garibaldi”.
The area in question borders to the East and West respectively with Via Giuseppe Garibaldi and Via Faglie San Rocco, but also with existing built fabric, to the South with Via Missori and to the North with a recently built residential complex. All buildingsthey have symmetrical recesses and protrusionsin all elevations, to guarantee movement to the entire building.Maintaininga contemporary styleand a simple architectural language is played on the alternation of colour, in shades of gray and white, combining the smooth covering with the banded covering. The opening system, made of white PVC, is predominantly symmetrical between the various floors with a darkening system in anthracite gray PVC roller shutters; the openings will have frames painted dark grey, the same color used for the balconies.The roof will be flat and practicable in order to be able to carry out interventions on the systems that will be housed here, the parapets will be solid in reinforced concrete with a minimum height of 80 cm in order to protect from the risk of falling from above and in order to mask the presence of photovoltaic panels on the roof.The main front of the SF3 is characterized by the presence of the stairwell emphasized by the gray banded cladding, while for the SF1 the stairwell, again emphasized by the gray banded cladding, is located on the secondary front of the building. For the SF2 the stairwell is positioned centrally with respect to the building and therefore masked by the apartments present nearby.

Description
The planned intervention is part of a medium density residential urban area of completion, located in a portion of heterogeneous urban fabricbetween Via Berlinguer and Via Colombo, near the center of the hamlet of San Pietro all'Olmo, the result of a constant and progressive building stratification of a predominantly residential nature.The architectural solutionproposal speaks a language with clear references tomodernity.
The building organism has a regular rectangular layout and presents a volumetric articulation made lively through the play offull and empty,of the alignments of the architectural facade elements and through the use of different colors and facade finishes.The elevations most involved in these "games" are the south-west elevation on Via Magellano and the north-west facing the park on Via San Siro.The mezzanine and first floor maintain the same alignment, on the second floor there is a retraction of the facade line in order toincrease the surface areaintended for usable open space. The apartments on the top floor can benefit from an additionalprivate open spacecreated on the roof and reachable by external staircase from the relevant terrace. These elements are treated to further characterize the facades, in fact it was decided to partially conceal the external stairs with masonry wings.The second floor, as well as having a different plan profile, presents a different treatment of the façade finish, while the mezzanine and first floor have an external coat finish with white plaster, it presents a coat finish with horizontal bands with white plaster. Color: Grey.The balcony parapets have solid parts in gray plaster and micaceous iron handrails. For these elements too, it was decided to differentiate them only on the top floor where we find only closed portions, on the other floors the closed portions are interspersed with portions. open withglass elements.

Description
The urban fabric in which the intervention is inserted is characterized by typological heterogeneity, the result of a constant and progressive stratification of building interventions mainly of a residential nature. The first settlements belong to the historical fabric and present the classic courtyard typology; these are flanked by single and two-family interventions from the sixties and seventies, together with a series of terraced houses from the nineties. The intervention proposes the construction of a building aresidential character with three floors above groundwhich will host seven residential units, three per floor, and a basement for garages and service spaces such as cellars, technical rooms and boiler room.
The outline of the building is substantiallyrectangular, with central staircase.A modern and clean architectural language was chosen, characterized by large glass portions on the main front (southern elevation),large outdoor spacesand flat roofing.Maintaining a simple style, we play on the alternation of colour, in shades of grey, and finishes on the facade, combining the smooth cladding with the banded cladding.The balcony parapets alternate full portions with portions with railing on a full parapet.For windows and doors, gray PVC is chosen with a darkening system in PVC roller shutters of the same color.

The planned intervention is part of a portion of urban fabric with a predominantly medium and low density residential character, the result of the urban expansion that has characterized this portion of the territory since the 1960s, incorporating predominantly agricultural areas with particularly fractioned. The factory bodyturns outEnoughlinear, this dictated by the very elongated conformation of the lot and is enriched by the choices made for the finishes.
To lighten the volumetric articulation, aclean perspective languagemade of neutral colors and a few refined elements such as the banded treatment of portions of the facades facing the adjacent public and private space, on the one hand aimed at underlining architectural elements such as the stairwell and on the other to further characterize the main facades. Another characterizing element is the profile chosen for the balcony slab it createsan interesting play of lightand lightens the important mass constituted by the load-bearing structure.The balcony parapets alternate empty and full spaces, the finish of the last ones and the facades will be in white plaster, the plinth and external walkways will be in gray natural stone.The roof will be pitched with an anthracite gray flat tile covering, gutters and downpipes in pre-painted aluminum of the same shade.

Description
The large 1980s villa with one floor above ground with a large and well-kept garden owned by the M family was the subject of addition and restyling in order to create two new residential units on the first floor.
The expansion maintains a dialogue with the pre-existence and with the system of solids and voids of the facades.
The result is a building of considerable importance with contemporary elements and materials mixed with more traditional elements.

Description
Villa from the fifties, the G family needed to update and rethink the internal and external spaces which had remained the same for too long. The main request was to review the layout of the house on the mezzanine floor and renovate the outdoor space to make it more usable. This creates a modern and elegant open space living area with a large terrace that allows you to enjoy the outdoor space and connects the interior with the garden. The facade and roof are the subject of a general restyling which gives freshness and new vitality to the building

Description
The intervention rethinks the rooms on the ground floor of the villa in order to create a large living area. The sleeping area is created on the upper floor with the recovery of the attic for living purposes. The existing hipped roof is replaced by a roof with a more complex shape with an important gable on the main facade of the building and large terraces.
The end result is a renovated and elegant villa

The project is part of the development plan for via Don Sturzo/Cascine Torrette. The two-storey building has a simple geometry enriched by the chromatic play of the facade and characterized by the open staircase. Eight housing units hosted. The building is completed by the large private gardens on the ground floor.
